Στο Ολυμπιακό στάδιο της Αθήνας, στον αγώνα Παναθαναϊκού - Εργοτέλη (22/10/2011), αναρτήθηκε πανό που έγραφε «Πολιτικοί λαμόγια, βουλή των βολεμένων. Θα σας πνίξει η οργή των εξεγερμένων». Ο διαιτητής διέκοψε για 8 λεπτά τον αγώνα, προκειμένου να κατέβει το πανό, επικαλούμενος ότι προσβάλει το φίλαθλο πνεύμα.
Το σύνθημα είχε, σαφέστατα, πολιτικό χαρακτήρα (και ισοπεδωτικό, αφού αναφερόταν σε όλους ανεξαιρέτως τους πολιτικούς), αλλά για να διαπιστώσουμε αν ήταν και υβριστικό πρέπει να ερμηνεύσουμε τον όρο "Λαμόγιο/α"
Τα Λαμόγια ήταν οι βοηθοί, οι αβανταδόροι, των παπατζήδων. Ο όρος χρησιμοποιείται ευρέως στα ευθυμογραφήματα του Νίκου Τσιφόρου για να προσδιορίσει τους τσιλιαδόρους, που υποκρίνονταν τον παίκτη του παπατζή, για να προσελκύσουν τα θύματα.
Η λέξη λαμόγια προέρχεται από το ιταλικό έναρθρο ουσιαστικό «la moglie» (πρφ.: λα μόγιε - μτφ.: η σύζυγος). Τη στιγμή που κάποιος Ιταλός χαρτοπαίκτης κέρδιζε και ήθελε να φύγει από το τραπέζι για να μη ξαναχάσει, φώναζε, δήθεν φοβισμένος, «la moglie, la moglie», (λαμόγιε...), ότι, δήθεν, τον έψαχνε η γυναίκα του, βούταγε βιαστικά τα χρήματα και έφευγε τρέχοντας (την έκανε λαμόγιο δεν τήρουσε, δηλαδή, τις υποσχέσεις του). Αυτή η σατιρική έκφραση έφτασε στην Ελλάδα, ενώ ξεχάστηκε στην Ιταλία, και τη χρησιμοποιούμε για να προσδιορίζουμε τον ασυνεπή και τον μικροαπατεώνα. Οι χαρακτηρίσμοί αυτοί, είτε δεν ταιριάζουν, είτε κολακεύουν ορισμένους, όχι όλους, από τους πολιτικούς μας.
